Random Fun!

Mallory decided this year that she wanted to go "shopping with her mom" instead of a party for her birthday...so we had family over for presents and cake and then we headed OUT for a Big shopping day! Of course I loved every minute of it! Happy 9th Mallory!

What fun we had in the snow! I think we got more this year than ever! Now if I could think which month this was? lololol

First Art Class!

What a great time! We just got around to one of our late Christmas gifts from one of our good friends who wanted to let the kids take Art Class...So we are having Amber come do an hour and half lesson with the kids each week which is going just great...The kids love her and she did a really good job teaching them....her are some pics from our first lesson! Enjoy!

Airport Fieldtrip!

Last Thursday we went on a Homeschool Fieldtrip to the Airport and had a blast! Our group had their own tour guide that told the kids all about the Airport and how everything works there...we even got to see a few planes take off and land! Then we all went out for a nice lunch and the kids got to play...We were just happy to be there since I am now working nights again!

BMX Rocks...We had never been but Sister Charlotte and I wanted to get the kids together over the holidays for some fun...sooooo we packed up all the bikes and some great picnic stuff and off we went to Oak Mountain...The kids loved it and Riley thought he was BIG Stuff but then again so did I...YES I DID THE WHOLE THING....it was great! Kinda scary the first time but I loved it and plan to get my own bike and join in from now on!!!!

Christmas Continued...

What a wonderful time we had this Christmas...God is so very good to us all year through and what a great time to witness as Bailey, Aunt MimI and even Riley read the birth of Jesus from the bible....one of the sweetest gifts this year was Mallory as she had collected change the past few months and bought a card for me and TAPED all her coins in it to give to me....YES I CRIED...it overwhelmed me to say the least...How wonderful it is to know God has given her such as sweet heart!

Christmas Fun!

We had some early holiday fun as we went to the Trussville Parade and then decorated some cookies...The kids loved it...we have family coming over Christmas Eve to eat and share the story of Jesus Birth (the kids are going to read this year) and then enjoy some gift giving to celebrate!

Can you say MohawK? Riley and Mallory love to play with Crazy Foam in the bath so we caught one of their works of art and I guess you could say Riley was the ginny-pig!!!

Thanksgiving 2008

I had a very interesting Thanksgiving...I got sent home from work and had oral surgery the day before with an abseased tooth...Sooo lets just say I cooked all the food and had to eat mash potatoes and THAT WAS IT??? Bummer...I did slip in some dessert but for the most part I was under the weather...My crazy family came and hung out and I am sure THEY enjoyed the food but then again that is how it supposed to be, right? lol
