Going to China

My youngest usually NEVER wants to dress up for Sunday School BUT this time they were going to CHINA for the day sooooooo he got to wear Big Brothers karate suit so he was innnnnnnnnn....thought I would share!!!

Deal of the day!!!

We went out this evening to catch some deals and BOY did we....I only paid $13.00 out of pocket total of all of this including tax...lots of .01 items and .50 items along with 300 FREE labels at Staples (reg. 9.99) and to top it all off the HUGE storage bins were on clearance for $1.50 each (reg. 14.99) I would say we got a GREAT DEAL...what a blessing!!!

First day of school....

We have started back our first day of homeschooling for the year....it is going great!!!! I Riley is going into 2nd grade, Mallory is in 6th grade and Bailey is in 8th grade!!!! I am so very blessed to have always been able to homeschool and I count it pure JOY....

August Beach Trip

What a wonderful trip we had this past weekend with some friends in Seaside, Florida...the kids had a blast with their boogie boards in the ocean and lots of fun making sand castles and yummy burgers and chicken on the grill...then we took some great BIKE rides through the town of Watercolor, Seaside and Seagrove....and finished it all up with great homemeade ice-cream sundaes!!!! My camera went on the fritz so we did not get many pics :( ...but all in all this was the best beach trip we have taken in a LONG LONG time!!!

What a great time we had this past month at the Alabama Revival Conference. We always have such good preaching/teaching and fellowship and we were super excited this year to be involved in helping cook one of the nights for the Pastors and their families...

Park Time with Friends

We had a very fun night of being with our friends to ride bikes and eat popcycles...Summers sure have been HOT here so we wait until late evening and head out for some fun...Riley taught Brodie how to ride his bike and they want to go EVERYDAY now...they think they are Big Stuff...

Atlanta Getaway..

We had a nice little getaway this past weekend...we headed over to Stone Moutain Georgia for some R & R...we also enjoyed the World of Coke but skipped the Aquarium ( the kids wanted to swim instead) lol...Riley taught himself how to swim under water for the first time and from that point on he was like a FISH for sure...the kids loved getting away and after all the "schoolwork"  I did last week I sooooo loved the time as well. Enjoy!!!

My Young Artist....

Mallory loves loves to paint so she got to attend a "Caffiene and Canvas" event last night...she had a blast and thought you might enjoy seeing what she created!!! 

Memorial Weekend

Saturday we went to Decatur for the Alabama Jubilee with our friends and we had an awesome time...the balloons were great as well as all the fun of arts and crafts, jumpies, food and fellowship!!!! Then Monday we joined some other friends for a great day at the Lake...holidays can be FUN FUN!
