Exam Updates!

Updates....we have had 2 exams so far and I made an "A" on both!!! Whoo hoo! We have our third one this Thursday and then start clinicals on Monday November 10th...Stay tuned for nursing pictures!!!

Off to School we GO!

Well well....we have offically started our nursing classes...My friend Alana and I started class last week and we are already having a HUGE test this week! How fun? We are already getting the feeling of how hard this is going to be but we know GOD is good and HE will see us through....We have several more weeks of classes then we will be eligible for our certification...Stay tuned as we travel this journey!

On another note I have a new JOB! I am working at Franklin Covey at the Summit now and loving it! And of course in the midst of allllllllllll of these changes I am still homeschooling....I have an awesome 'friend' that is helping me with the kids and I know I could not make it without her!

Firestation Field Trip!

Last week we had a Homeschool Field Trip to a local Firestation and it was a blast...We had a great turnout and then we all headed to the park to have lunch...here are some cute pics we took of all the fun!

Can you say GOOD? Well sweet Sister Corey made this more than wonderful cake for us this week and we thought it should be worthy of blogging! lol Charlene and Aiden and the Kids and I all shared it with our coffee...(don't worry only the adults had the coffee???) we appreciate you Sister Corey...many THANKS!

Brother Ted's Surprise Party!

What fun we had at Sister Tina's for Brother Ted's surprise birthday last weekend! We got him good! Everyone had a great time..especially Riley and Sophie...they ran and played allllllll night? lol

Can't wait for nice fall weather...these pictures kinda make you think it is just around the corner? Play-night with Friends...

We had a great night out with my friends that I nanny for...Jennifer who is 14 was in a play at the Samford Theater last night and Mallory and I went to see her...we had a great time as we had no idea what a great singer and actress she is.....Her parents (whom we dont see too much because her mom is a traveling Doctor and her dad is a contractor) met us there and we really enjoyed our time together! Mallory thought she was BIG STUFF going to a play!

Nursing? Who would have thought?????

God is so good, isnt he? And right on time, dont you think? Funny how He changes our direction right in the middle of what 'we' think is best? Well that is just what He has done in my life this very week....I was and I mean WAS heading to class in September for Medical Coding but about 3 weeks ago we found out that my present job (that I have had for almost 3 years now) is going to abruptly END first of September? Bummer, you might think; but really it is a GOD THANG! Sure I could panic or be upset as to how I am going to make it from here but God being God has stepped in right on time...He has made a way for me to start classes in a whole different direction and for my betterment I am positive!

I found out about a program that a local hospital offers that will allow you to come work for them as a Nursing Assistant for a year and then enable you to stop working (but keep your salary) and they will send you to school to get your RN to be a nurse! In return you contract with them to return to thier hopital to work for 2 years once you are an RN!!! How awesome is that? Soooooo I asked God to make a way and order my steps if this is what He wanted me to do and low and behold.......I have found a CNA program that just happens to start NEXT WEEK that I can enroll in and it takes 5 weeks to complete then you take your certification and BAM there I will be on my way in a whole new direction that otherwise would not have happened if I had not lost my job!!!!!!!!!!

Now all the little details like paying my bills for September and feeding my little ones...well let's just say...That will be a GOD THANG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 Keep us in your prayers!!!!!!!!!!!
