Yea!!! Mallory has finally joined Martial Arts class...she is doing such a great job! We cant wait until she goes up for her first belt! GO MALLORY!

Can we say SUMMER JOB!

Well it is almost summer and Bailey decided he wanted to 'earn' some money! Well he surely got more than he bargained for? lol He now has 3 grass cutting jobs and is doing GREAT! He is making some really good money and loving it! Which in turn makes for a wonderful opportunity to teach him about tithing and saving and giving all in one whack! We are proud of you Bailey and we know God has great things in store for you!

Block Party Fun!

What a fun saturday! Sister Bonnie, Sister Noel and I took the kids to a fun Block Party at a local church...The kids went Rock Climbing, ate lots of good stuff and got their faces painted! It was a beautiful day and BUT the adults got sunburnt..fun fun?? Riley thought he was BIG STUFF climbing those rocks for the first time..he waited and waited and waited in that long line but it was well worth it he said!! lol

What a great Easter! Bailey was our coordinator and made sure all the family came over to spend the day and eat lunch...we had lots of fun and the kids loved spending time with each other...We learned all about the Resurrection and what it means and then we talked about ways our own lives have been resurrected...which was a great learning opp to explain that 'before' and after picture they saw at church??? lol

Simple Saturday!

Today we spent some time with our friends Sister V, Cornelious and Keanna...We had lunch and went to play and then to Michaels for some crafty fun! We always have such fun when we get together...here are some cute pics we made Enjoy!

Dont think you can take this little 'prayer warrior" down. He may only be "3" but he can pray down the rain with his little self! And boy is he faithful when he prays...if he knows someone needs prayer **he prays and prays and prays for them...NOW TAKE THAT DEVIL!

Bailey's Karate Test Day

February 23rd, 2008. What a great day we had. Bailey, Tyler, Micah, Nick, EG, Brother Bert, Andrew, Mario, Mario's Sister, and about 50 other people tested for their next belts in Karate. And to our surprise Bailey also received a trophy for being the most 'outstanding student' in the Jr. class and best in test. We were so exctied for him!!! GO BAILEY. They all did a great job and we are so proud of everyone....WE love Bham Academy of Martial Arts! AND Mallory is sooooooooo exctied she is finally starting Karate this coming week...GO MALLORY!

Who says Times Tables can't be FUN!

Homeschool...How fun! We decided since it was sooooooo beautiful outside today that we would take drilling our 'times tables' to a whole new level...I shouted out the tables and they had to answer using fun 'exercises" instead of their mouths. This worked out great and we laughed and had lots of fun not to mention plenty of vitamin "D"...lol
